Measuring techniques and access to enclosed spaces below deck

Company DGSA Bohemia, Ltd. organize specific training courses of measurement techniques for crews of vessels carrying dangerous goods in accordance with 1.3.2.2 of the ADN.The training consists of theoretical and practical part. The course participants will learn about the operation of commonly available measuring instruments used in inland navigation, their maintenance, service and calibration requirements. At the same time, the trainees will get a comprehensive overview of the prescribed permissible concentration values ​​and nationally approved exposure limits. During the practical part, each of the trainees will try working with a flammable gas detector and a toximeter.

The second part of the training is a practical exercise of security principles when entering enclosed spaces below the deck. The trainees will try working with the emergency winch and working with the harness. An important part is the evacuation of the disabled person from the enclosed space to the deck.
